Gotta love holiday weddings–that warm homecoming feeling really suits a wedding celebration. Last Saturday, Katie and Brian had a beautiful day for their festive affair in West Hartford, with their reception at the the Mid-Century Pond House whose halls were decked beautifully for the season.

My husband, Brian, and I got married at the Pond House 7 years ago this month. It is a beautiful place to have a wedding. In fact, he doesn’t know it yet but I hope to surprise him with a anniversary dinner there this month.
